Experience Gaining with maintained enchantments? - Guild Wars Forums

Hi everyone, just a quick question. I wanted to help a friend get leg survivor by farming vaettirs. if he maintains an enchantment on me, thus participating in the fight, does he get experience even if he isnt within aggro range? thanks

I don't believe so, but I can't confirm it.

If I remember right, he is not going to get experence that way. Just drops.

You need to be active in the action. Either healing or attacking, just wanding works

I tried that myself with 2 accounts. Doesn't work, no matter what kind of enchantment (a protection or a buff).

What if his friend used splinter weapon? Would that trigger exp gain?

Yes, but that weapon spell needs to be recast ever so often.
